Trouble in the trench

It has been hot here in Sussex - hotter than it has been for quite some time anyway. Noo bounced out of school as usual and we whizzed ZQ to the dentist. The little 'un was very keen to use the water cooler, and must have had about 4 cups of water. The dentist commented on his red face and said that just looking at him made her feel hot. He had an ice-cream on the way home and played out on his bike briefly. All was well......until I gave him his dinner! All of a sudden he was in tears with earache :( He didn't eat much and fell asleep on me after having some calpol. GravyC took him to bed but he isn't very settled. Too much sun I'm thinking??!!
