Squirrel Nutkin

This rather beautiful brooch was given to me for appraisal last week. I think he is just stunning and very special. He was made by Cartier in approximately 1965. All 18ct yellow gold, with ruby eyes, holding and nibbling a natural pearl "nut".
Not the kind of thing I would ever dream of actually wearing but it would be lovely to own, I think.
