Six Months

I turned 6 months old today,
Hip hip hooray!
A whole half a year,
That deserves a cheer!
Let's not talk about my sleeping,
That'll get mummy weeping.
This month has been tough,
But it's because I'm learning new stuff.
Like how to grip and grab my toys,
I like the ones that make lots of noise.
I'm almost rolling over and sitting up,
And now it's time to eat food and drink from a cup.
But don't get too stressed,
When I favour the breast.
Why eat food,
When the milk is so good.
You know that I'll get there one day soon.
So let's get on with May, it'll nearly be June!
