Magpie in the garden

I hope he did not find anything too good to eat out there. These birds seem prehistoric to me but seem to be smart.
Depending on the weather report listened to it may (or may not) dip below freezing Thursday or Friday night. We also may (or may not) get  a little wet snow Friday evening. I guess my new flowers may (or may not) be at some risk. Sheesh!
