Pretty Vacant

From my walk along the top road above the golf course, one gets a view right up the valley.

Extraordinarily, nearly all these apartment blocks, virtually if not actually completed, are empty.

Hundreds of them. Entire urbanisations left to rot because the developer ran out of money or could not sell them.

Southern Spain is littered with such follies. Blots on the landscape and testaments to greed and corruption.

Such a shame.
