A DAY IN and ON THE WATER...

... we had wanted to do a snorkel cruise whilst here in FIJI, and today was it!
Prior to coming had done a little research and decided on the Whalestale cruise which attracted me with the fact it was an old schooner vessel, and had good reviews.

Well, they certainly lived up to the reviews! What a super fun day, brilliant helpful caring crew, great tucker, and a private island to enjoy.

The snorkel bit was great, and having borrowed the sons GoPro to bring with us, we were able to get a few underwater pics. This one is a large octipus spotted. 
Check the first extra of some fun I had with it in the shallows, like my shadow with the "arty' effect of light and water. It was in about 150 mm of water.

After all the water fun, they had a game of volley ball which all joined in. The last extra shows the tender (which was a glass bottom boat) bringing us back to the schooner to head home. 

Must admit, aside the fact I have not snorkelled since teenage age, we both had a hoot, and you guessed it time for a good sleep!!
