17. May - Norwegian National Day in Hølen, Norway

National Day celebration in Norway since we have no military parade, just children's parade and in some places the parade include parents and local organisations.  

Sorry to say, I forgot the memory card on the table so I took some few shot with my iPhone (that was filled with too many videos!) Anyhow I think you get the impression how the parade looks like in small places like Hølen. 

If you plan to visit Oslo in May, you should try to be there on 17. may. The atmosphere is amazing with the endless parade with children that walk toward the royal palace to great the royal family. Our king Harald has never been as popular as now. His speech Norway is us where he talks about diversity in Norway was amazing and many publish it on social media today as a reminder. His words "Norwegians are girls that love girls, boys that loves boys, and girls and boys that love each other", was special welcomed.
