Arriving ...

Arriving at a strange destination in the dark, especially when the darkness is suddenly filled with the noise of torrential rain, is something best done in the company of friend. Finding the chilled wine, the flask of raki, the apricots and the home-made cake contributes to creating an instant home.

It may be only 11.46pm at home, but here in Crete it's already tomorrow. A thunderstorm is promised, but there is shopping to do and the raki is not yet finished. Right now ... sleep. Tomorrow is another day.
