Sub-species

Absolute fluke of a shot today - but I'll accept it!

This is a sub-species of the New Zealand fantail (piwakawaka) - about 4% of South Island fantails are black whereas only 1% of North Island ones are.

This wee guy was hanging about with the one that often visits me.
