haha pardon the music choice,
but how often do you get a chance to use a name like that??

after class today i helped out with a fund raiser.
im working on a film (The Subleaser) this quarter,
as head audio,
and this is one of its ways we are making money.

my group also won this year's 48 hour shootout competition,
out of about 30 teams,
and picked up some money that way.

the basic story of this dark comedy is:
someone's roommate dies,
and they get a subleaser for the apartment,
who ends up being a 45 year old serial killer.

we are having a raffle for the spot as the serial killer's victim.
its a nonspeaking role-
basically you get stabbed and thats about it.
tickets go for 1$ (or 7 for 5$ or 15 for 10$).
the winner also gets a copy of the dvd and free food on set.

it was fun to yell out to strangers asking if they want to die- in a movie.
i spent most of the afternoon holding the sign and fake knife in the center of the frame,
and i think im sunburnt now.

tomorrow night we're selling tickets and doughnuts to the drunk students.

shooting begins next weekend, and will likely be my blips for the next several weekends.
