Loch Monar

The hidden valley of Loch Monar seen from the top of Lurg Mhor, another one of the most remote Munros to get to. This top and the nearby Bidein a'Choire Sheasgaich, required a two-day expedition walking in from Attadale and staying in the bothy at Bendronaig Lodge.

The weather forecast was pretty touch and go, but in the end it was mostly fine with an occasional shower. The result was one of sore-footed satisfaction.
