Goats and War Deaths

Whiskey was taken and delicate heads were manouevred up into the Appenines along twisting back roads. Goats climbing an an old car made for a pleasant diversion before arriving at the grim and sobering German war cemetery at the top of the Futa pass (see extra).

Later we got chatting over some lunch to a couple of German petrol-heads who were following the Mille Miglia 'race' with its 500 entrants of cars built before 1957.

Then down to the outlet centre at Barberino di Mugello before a pizza in San Domenico with The Boss and an early night.
