Not as advertised!!!

This morning the weather forecast promised a morning of sunny intervals and then some showers this afternoon. Lovely, I thought, for a cycling quest event up in Norland. An event that was advertised as essentially a treasure hunt on a bike. What fun, I thought! :-)

In reality, the event was a disorganised shambles with terrible clues and a lack of anything really...never mind, after an hour or so off the route and onto a different cycle ride, why not when the sun is shining and you're already on your bike!

It was then, about 40 minutes later, when the first few spots of rain began to fall! No problem, the forecast showers. Oh no, it was the start of a deluge of rain that continued for the next couple of hours!!!

Back, very wet and not especially warm...!!! However, a warm shower and a cuppa soon sorted that and I've lived to tell the tale :-P It could be worse! :-)
