COQUELICOT

A field poppy lost in a bed of faded bluebells and grape vines. I adore these flowers - they are so fragile & so tenacious. When my parents went to live in the deep French countryside the wheat fields were mauve from a mixture of coquelicots & bleuets (field poppies & cornflowers).

Downtown today buying shirts to replace my threadbare collection. Downtown was THROBBING with Belgian Gay Pride - dearie me - kept my camera in its pocket.

Scooted back to the workshop to get paid.

Off to Orkney on Monday - Yessss!
