All part of the story

Out of a packet

Lots of chat today about the new borehole, which has gone on a dreadful go-slow this week.   The water is there, up on the hill, but the pump needs to be sunk into the borehole and connected up to a power supply.  Plus 600m of pipework need to be dug in to bring it down to the farm.  So it will take a while to move onto the new source!  Luckily our existing supply is still going, so we haven't run out with all this dry weather.

The three pet lambs are off the bottle now, on to the shepherdess bucket.

This is White campion, out of a wild flower mix packet of seeds sown two years ago.
