Charley and Merrick

Merrick wanted to build with blocks, but the new puppy had other ideas. Charley would knock our beginning towers over, and she would run off with the blocks.

Merrick got smart, moving his creation to the top of the stairs...away from the doggie.

Charley finally tired of the play, and settled in for a nap. Meanwhile, Merrick finished his work, and posed for the camera.

We just finished watching the Preakness Stakes (horse racing.) The favorite Always Dreaming (the Kentucky Derby winner) led for half the race...but faded to 8th place.
