Wild onion

After the few drops of rain we had a couple of days ago, miraculously the 'second spring' we have here in September and October seems to be starting, with some flowers coming back to life and beginning to bloom again on land that is still parched. There'll be plenty of time for that over the next few weeks, so I thought I'd catch this rather battered-looking wild onion head as possibly the last in this summer's 'dry' series.
