End of days

This was literally the only image I took today that wasn't of Mish. 

We all went on a picnic - perfect weather for it, and Mish really enjoyed herself, which was the main point of the exercise.

I have no idea what these seed pods belong to, but I'm sure someone from the north can tell me.  They are almost Japanese in form, and come from a deciduous tree
