The latest image from my OneTree project. The stag headed oak is nearing the end of its life and a few weeks ago the National Trust decided to plant a new oak that will eventually replace the old tree. A bit of family interest here - my daughter (the trainee ranger) planted the new tree and constructed the protective wooden framework around it.
