The more you pick....

...the more you get, so I understand! So yesterday's flowers are now on the mantelpiece and looking beautifully delicate and still yet to fully open. Lovely purples and pinks. 

My extra is of one the Allium lilies I treated myself to this afternoon. I saw some in gardens on my way home and I do like them. To buy some seemed the next best thing..

It's been a hot day! Very nice, but does make for some very sweaty hot looking children after lunchtime break out in the gardens. Some insist on keeping their blazers on!! 
"Mum said I mustn't lose it"  !!
