Purple Rain

Back to Connecticut in the rain today.  The garden has changed its colour scheme from the yellows and whites of the early season daffodils, tulips, and apple and pear blossom to a lot of different shades of purple now being flaunted by the bearded iris, alliums, Korean lilac, and clematis.  It all looks very happy soaking up this afternoon's gentle showers.
