First day of my PhD

Today was my official first day of my PhD after submitting my proposal at 11am. However, I spent a lot of the day lying outside and relaxing as the weather was amazing! This photo was taken outside plant sciences whilst I was waiting for Martin to arrive. The whole week is meant to be like this so I'm making the most of it - beer festival tomorrow, London Wednesday evening, Chelsea flower show Thursday, punting Friday, walking Saturday, and BBQ Sunday. How wonderful :)
