Hung Out To Dry

BB had the day off today as it was a teacher in service day.  TT was at work so I also had the day off.  It was a nice morning, so I got on with some chores, before asking BB what he wanted to do.,  He asked if we could go to North Berwick – so late morning  we set off late, just as the rain started.  We stopped off in Athelstaneford and visited the flag heritage centre, before continuing on our way.

The rain was getting heavier so our first stop was a café for lunch – so much for thinking we could have a picnic at the beach!  BB over-ordered so I helped him out, and then regretted it!  By the time we had lunched the rain was going off and it seemed to be brightening up.  We wandered and ended up at the beach.  The sun appeared and we had a lovely walk an rock clamber  as the tide was going out.  BB had an ice cream before we headed home.  BB had cello practice to do, and then after tea he had football.   I went for a wander with S while football was on – and once again the sun came out and it was a lovely evening.

I took lots of photographs at the beach, but quite like this one of the colourful washing hanging out to dry.
