Ruby Red!!

This little ginger ninja came to live with us 8 weeks ago. She was skinny, warty, bald patches, had had no human contact for 6 months which meant she totally got dogs, but was very scared of humans when she arrived at the Many tears Rescue centre!

Thankfully she's very intelligent and all the humans she came into contact with have been lovely so she knows we're not the enemy and has adapted to life with us perfectly apart from the weeing in the house and eating of poo!! Arghhhhh we will conquer it all one day!!

Her and Martha have become best friends and she watches Martha's every move. Rex on the other hand is a totally different kettle of fish and will launch himself at her just for breathing. She respects this looks a little confused and just leaves him alone. He is nearly 8 now, a grumpy old man!! Love him.

The reason we got Ruby was because our Max the springer passed away. He got a very rare tumour on his tonsil and within 2 months of diagnosis we had to say goodbye. We still miss him terribly, but the Ginger Ninja has been a good distraction and has a very similar springy character.

So our adventures with her have just begun, she's such a character and has amazing recall and you only have to show her something a couple of times and she gets it. Very lovable and very clever who could ask for more.
