The sun is shining, the weather is sweet....

Walking through the Parque del Oeste this morning to get to uni and seeing the sun peeping through the trees reminded me that, for once, I actually had my camera in my bag and that therefore I should take some photos.

It's great being able to walk through a part of such a wonderful creation on my way to uni everyday. Perhaps a slightly classier equivalent of The Meadows in Edinburgh, the park always seems to be full of other people walking or cycling places...even at 10am. The park apparently has a cable car somewhere in it which takes you up to see some stunning views of the city so that's something to investigate later on.

The language classes improved yesterday but hit rock bottom today. We were played a recording of some comedian telling stories of trips to South America and playing the guitar and had to do some activities based on it...only we couldn't actually hear the recording and Patri decided that we were going to spend TWO HOURS listening it again and again and again and again. He couldn't work out how to turn up the volume, but he tried. But after two hours of this, enough was enough. When the pausa (break) came half way through, a sigh of relief resonated around the room. After heading to the cafeteria, we (Hannah, Isacco, Bruno, Astrid, Hannah, Riika, Constance and I) somehow found ourselves heading away from the Filologia Building to some grass nearby and speaking/learning Spanish there instead. Hopefully tomorrow it will improve again and we'll not be enticed from A-48 by the sun outside!

Besos x
