From the pond

Despite recent set backs, ( a good clean out of the plant life which was slowly taking over ) I counted no less than 6 damselfly exuviea round the pond at work today. Sadly all but this one damselfly had already left! 
I managed to get a shot of this one, a beautiful  tenneral male Azure damselfly Coenagrion puella , as he dried his wings ready to join the others. as you can see he is so new his colour hasn't even developed yet.
