Little Thing on a Leaf

This tiny grasshopper seems to live in this ratty folded up leaf on one of the citrus trees. He's been there for a couple days, always in the same place every time I pass by. Without the antennae he's less than a quarter of an inch long. I guess that works for Tiny Tuesday.

We've lost a couple more plants to The Mysterious Creature That Comes in the Night. No tunnels, no mounds, no detritus, and two no alyssum plants. Just emptiness where there were perfectly healthy flowers last night. I'm not quite ready to camp out and keep guard, but I sure wish I knew what was going on out there.
