Home of the Passion Play

The inhabitants of Oberammergau perform the world famous Passion Play here every ten years.  The next performance is due at the end of May 2020.  Meanwhile the beautiful painted houses and shops attract thousands of visitors.  Another of those "had to be visited" places  where our granddaughter did lots of essential present shopping!  Oh, and the coffee & cake are not to be missed either!
