Little Morton Hall

We are in Congleton today to help Julia, Sam & Alice move house tomorrow but took advantage of the lovely warm sunshine to visit Little Morton Hall.
The Hall, also known as Old Moreton Hall, is a moated half-timbered manor house 4 miles southwest of Congleton in Cheshire, It was built to make a big impression, and was constructed during the Tudor period, with the earliest part of the house begun in around 1504 to 1508 and the latest addition being completed in 1610.  It is now a National Trust property.
