Isle of Arran.....

Took the ferry to my favourite island today, I love the one hour ferry trip, just enough time to have a snack and then admire the views as we come into Brodick.....

We took the bus to Blackwaterfoot and walked to King's Cave and back.  It was dull but dry, in fact the sun only came out on the way home.   My blip is of the little bridge and river at Blackwaterfoot, taken as we waited for the bus back to Brodick.

When the bus came the driver said his bus would be taking the long route..... we were happy with this as it took an hour and we travelled about three quarters of the way round the island.  As we have done lots of hiking on Arran it was nice to pass all the places we knew.

We also saw lots of wildlife, including seals and hawks.  The island is just beautiful especially at this time of year when everything is fresh and green.  We arrived at the ferry terminal in Brodick just in time to catch our ferry back to Ardrossan.

It was a grand day........

My extra was taken from the bus of Lochranza Castle.
