Farewell Tulips

I had a good day out in Edinburgh as I met up with friends for lunch and ticked off one or two things on the todo list.  It is a beautiful city and and despite our proximity, the gardens of Edinburgh are well ahead so I can admire and look forward to what will be.
Back home, it was a lovely evening and we have guests to chat away the time.  There is an increasing amount of interest in our own garden.  I'd probably given up on the tulips now that so many other flowers are coming out.  But there is still a beauty in them as they turn to prepare for next year.
So much to look forward to.
