Forest

We started off the day in Chulmleigh where we mostly photographed textures.  The village was picturesque, but too choked with cars to look good!

From there we drove to Chagford for lunch, which we found at a local deli.  We then took a couple of short walks at Fernworthy Reservoir, one to the dam wall and the second to a stone circle.  The area around the reservoir is Forestry Commission land, and the blip is of some of the trees.  It's difficult navigating thin forest roads when you meet an articulated lorry full of tree trunks coming the other way!  We were also held up by a farmer herding cows (and calfs) along the road with a car, quad bike and young girl on foot.

We stopped in Chagford again for tea on the way back through to the cottage.
