The Wall

Seventy, maybe eighty years ago when this wall was constructed the builders knew that Mother Nature would never quit trying to tear it down.  They reinforced it with iron bars to try to make it into a single unit and add strength.
But eventually it failed. Water, weight, and freeze/thaw cycles combined to overcome all the precautions taken by the original masons.

There must be a lesson there.
