Feels like summer

Warmest day of the year so far, proper 'T-shirt weather', even in Northumberland!

House martins are again constructing nests on the building next door to our office and, this year, on our building too. One nest is quite close to our kitchen window, and it's lovely watching the birds swooping up to it (though I'm not sure my colleague is quite so keen...).

Short walk on the Common with MrM and Louie early in the evening and, after we'd eaten, I accompanied MrM to Happy Valley when he went to check the squirrel feeders. We walked a little way further - the blip shows the rough field at the top of the valley, and the hills beyond.
