Now that's field of cotton grass!

A wander along the Roman road which stretches from Addingham to  Skipton, over the tops of Silsden.  Following a top tip from lovely blipper happyhound (I miss her journal) I know that the cotton grass flourishes on 'Dick's' land up there.  (Some of you may remember my visit there last year?) To our amazement, Dick parked up right alongside us and we picked up his tales, following on from last year.  Another fascinating adventure tour of his 55 acres of land (which included a practical lesson on how to climb a tree - I know.... how old do I think I am!).  And he happily posed again on 'his bench' (extra) as he did in my extra from last year.  Sadly no pretty sunset this year... I may have to pop back!
