Three Bridges Tour

What a perfect day for a boat tour of the three Forth Bridges!  Considering I booked it a week ago, I was delighted the day was so ideal.

A smooth run to North Queensferry, just outside Edinburgh, a very tasty lunch sitting outside overlooking the bridges, a stroll to the town to purchase the obligatory ice cream and then our tour on the boat in the photo, the Forth Belle.

We cruised out as far as Inchcolm to pick up passengers who had been visiting the Abbey there (which we have done before), spotted seals and puffins, enjoyed a complimentary cream tea as it was the last cruise of the afternoon and then headed under all the bridges to get a close up look before returning to the pier.

Another smooth run home in the sunshine and lovely memories of a very pleasant day.  Hope yours was equally sunny:-)
