Wild Boar

Glencaig; another walk suggestion which was given a "would recommend to a friend" rating by Mrs SJR.

This valley was previously lined with commercial woodland which would have been harvested in any case but the new hydro scheme has disturbed the slopes in a brutal manner which will take decades to settle down. It is still a nice walk. Most notable was our sighting of a wild boar with string of young in tow. Too distant and too wide a lens to capture with any quality I have posted (Extra) a tiny crop from a wide angle image.
