Damselfly

Common Blue damselfly - Enallagma cyathigerum

I think this is a recently emerged female.

On Monday, I blipped a wren with a damselfly in its beak but didn't spot any around the margins of the loch.  Today, there were lots so evidently, the warmer weather has triggered a hatching. Good news for all the parent birds with young to feed.
