The finished article

Finally, after years of hard toil, I received the bound copies of my thesis back from the printers today. I will be dropping them into the Open University Research Degrees Office tomorrow, which will trigger the issue of my certificate and allow me to use the title of Doctor in a work context. I'll probably attend a graduation ceremony sometime in the autumn.
