Esther met her idol today.

Today, after much deliberation, we decided to catch a boat from the old town to the island of Lokrum. It's a lovely unoccupied island full of trees and gardens. We met the bunnies and peacocks that roam free there before heading up a huge rocky hill (and I mean huge) to the fort to see the views over the Old Town. Whether it was worth wearing out a buggy and risking a hernia for I'm not sure. But we all survived.

Late lunch in the Old Town followed by yet another ice cream (this time we all shared) before we braved two busy public buses back.

We got back in time for a late afternoon swim in the pool much to the boy and Esther's delight. It was bl**dy nippy!

Homeward bound tomorrow. Thank you Croatia for a lovely nine days. We may meet again one day!
