Skater, musician, social worker and Trans activist - Imogen is a true Renaissance woman!

She's one of the movers and shakers in Spirit Level, a long-established Trans support group here in Liverpool. Despite both of us having been active in local LGBT+ circles for years, today was the first time we'd ever actually met. I can't believe it took so long but I'm glad it happened eventually! I could've chatted to her for a lot longer about all sorts of topics!

One of the things we're busy doing at work at the moment is consulting with the community to ensure that Liverpool Pride is as inclusive and representative as possible, and Imogen made some really thoughtful and constructive contributions to a great focus group session this afternoon. Thanks to her and everyone who's participating in this very enjoyable series of discussions.

The headline act at this year's Liverpool Pride (29th/30th July) will be the mighty Marc Almond. Hurrah!
