Flower Friday: Moccasin Flower

An apt name for this lovely wildflower, Cypripedium montanum or Mountain Lady's Slipper. A beautiful day, warm and nearly calm, with fluffy clouds.

Here in the US, this weekend the Memorial Day Weekend, kicks off the beginning of summer vacation. Millions of people will be camping, grilling food outdoors and engaging in a beginning-of-summer bacchanal.
 
I hope to put the finishing touches on a brochure and college marketing material as the clock ticks down to the end of the fiscal year.
