Wild in Whitley Bay.......

......yes, it's carnival time, and luckily it's carnival weather too!! A great turnout, as usual, and some amazing costumes and drumming/music to boot. I also, accidentally-on-purpose, bumped into a pair of Sea Queens Jean and Jane from Make, Do and Mend who were actually in the carnival parade (they don't usually dress like that, honest.....well, not always;-))......and immediately got roped into some running repairs/adjustment of a millinery nature. The extra is of them basking in dappled shade before the kick off;-)
