Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Had to make a cake today for a young lady who turns 18. Her grandma ordered last minute and as I've just had knee surgery, I told her the easiest design I could do would be the rosette cake, and she was very happy with that.

I rested plenty in between baking (yesterday) and icing today.

And Martin is home safe and sound from his week in the UK. So pleased he's home.

Been a gorgeous weather day and I've been home now for 3 whole days ... itching to get out, but I know I need to take it easy.
