The Trossachs

Super day out in the Trossachs today.   The HG still testing the legs, so we did an eight mile circle, taking in Loch Venachar and Loch Drunkie.  The bluebells were wonderful and lots of wild flowers identified.  Lots of garlic flowers too (ramsons) with their pungent aroma.

The weather was warm and sunny at times, but sometimes threatening rain, and in fact we had a few spits of rain but nothing to put on a jacket for.  However, when we finished our walk at Brig O'Turk the rain started just as we got back to the car, and it was very heavy at times.  We headed to the Venachar Loch restaurant for coffee and cake, and we couldn't see the other side of the loch any more because of the rain and mist, quite a change from earlier.

Home to a M&S meal, terrific.......
