Open Studios 2

G and I visited 3 more open studios this morning. They were all in High Kelling, which is the next village up the road. The first studio visited was that of Howard Denner who's in our camera club. He took early retirement and reinvented himself as a photographer of rock, blues and jazz musicians in concert, although he's now retired from this too. His photographs are amazing and he was so interesting to talk to. The second studio was that of his wife in the other half of the garage who works in various needle-crafts.

On the way home we spotted another sign so popped in. Chris White's workshop is in the old railway carriage which he restore as shown in the photo above. He works in stained glass and you can see a couple of garden pieces in the photo. He also runs courses and I'm very tempted to do a 1 day workshop and will be returning anyway with my cheque book!!!
