Barra Boat

This wee fishing boat was newly painted, and looking good. Unfortunately she is a scallop dredger, an indiscriminate practice using chains which wrecks reefs and delicate marine habitats. I know fishermen have to make a living, but this is not the way. I'd advise you not to buy scallops unless you are clear as to how they have been obtained.
