Wheatear up High

.... on the way up to the Col de Torrent above Villa in the canton of Valais today. Sometimes I just like a photo because it was so unexpected. I just wanted the detail of the cairn and this little bird flew on to it! You can see the cairn in context in the extra which shows reflections of some of the Valaisan giant peaks.
