Kes on a Sky Dish

One thing is for sure, Kes definitely spotted me as I was taking his picture this morning ...
Normally, of course, kestrels can be seen suspended in the sky, hovering above the ground whilst searching the terra-firma for any sign of a tasty snack - a mouse, or a shrew maybe, rummaging around in the overgrowth ...
When there's no wind, however, the kestrel can't hover and has to find other ways of hunting ... In this instance, it chose to stand on the Sky satellite dish, instead of just levitating in the sky ... :o)
