Peony

What a difference a day makes!

Yesterday I had a surprise call from a friend who lives in Glasgow. She was visiting her mother and would be nearby - could she and her husband call round? Absolutely!

We had lunch in the garden and sat in the sun until 4pm, when it was time for them to leave. The Ards Man had been sitting in the sun for about three hours at this stage - boy, did he get sunburnt!

Today it is grey and wet and it has been raining all day. I'm so glad that J and A visited yesterday!

I bought these peonies last week and they've reached that lovely blowsy stage, too nice for mono :)
